Head Coach: Brett Powell

Coach Powell joined the Littlestown soccer coaching staff in 2018. He served as the high school boys assistant coach for one year before taking over as head coach. When junior high soccer was founded in 2019, he became the head coach. He is currently the head coach of the junior high and high school boys programs. He has also been a USSF and PIAA referee for many years. He was a successful soccer player (defender and midfielder) at Warrior Run High School and then Lock Haven University.

Coach Powell has also been a physics teacher at Littlestown High School since 2018. He has traveled around the world and brings a diverse perspective to teaching and coaching. He enjoys helping others reach their potential and is passionate about both soccer and physics. He is also an Eagle Scout, loves the outdoors, and grew up in a small town surrounded by corn.

Assistant Coach: Kevin Smeak

Coach Smeak has served as the assistant coach of the junior high and high school boys soccer programs since 2018. Prior to holding these positions, he volunteered for numerous years at these levels and with Littlestown AYSO. He also served as an AYSO referee.

Coach Smeak is the director of public works for the city of Taneytown. He resides in Littlestown with his wife, Darbye, and their two children, Dylan and Abbey. Coach Smeak finds satisfaction in watching athletes excel within their realm, while having fun with their teammates. In his spare time, he also enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
